ALDEN RICHARDS, MAINE MENDOZA SHARE SWEET KISS AT 'EAT BULAGA' STUDIO

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza brought lots of kilig to the audience when they gave each other a sweet kiss during Eat Bulaga!'s live episode yesterday, October 21.

The two Dabarkads finally gave in to the long-request of fans for them to kiss, and they did so after the successful airing of Love Is, the Kapuso noontime show's telemovie starring them.

Minutes before they kissed, Alden and Maine were asked to give their own definition of what love is.

Maine answered, "Ever since, simple ko lang dini-define yung love talaga. Hindi naman siya nag-iba ngayon. Love is caring."

She then made a reference to the character she portrayed in Love Is, "Di ba nga, nung sinabi ni Viviene na, 'Love is opening your heart to someone na gusto kang intindihin, handa kang tanggapin nang buong-buo. Simple lang."

Alden pointed out how his character Marco never gave up on his girlfriend who suffered from clinical depression.

"Love is walang iwanan. Kumbaga, it applies to everything. Wala nang explanation yun, e."

Eat Bulaga! co-host Ruby Rodriguez chimed in, "Kaya nga kapag kinakasal, 'Till death do us part.'"

Pauleen Luna then teased Alden and Maine to give each other a kiss, "Parang pag may kinakasal din kailangan may kiss."

Ruby added, "Kasi puro sa TV namin nakikita, e. O pupuwesto kami ng nanonood, ha."

By this time, the studio audience had gone wild with excitement and began cheering on the AlDub love team to kiss.

Alden and Maine smiled, then gave each other a quick kiss on the lips.

TELEMOVIE ON OVERCOMING DEPRESSION. Directed by Adolf Alix, the telemovie Love Is tells the story of Viviene, a hard-working associate creative director who has a bright future ahead of her.

Not only is she given the chance to head a new project at her office, she is also engaged to her loving boyfriend Marco.

However, her life is suddenly turned upside down when her father suffers a heart attack and becomes partially paralyzed.

She also gets scammed by a cousin and loses all her savings, which had been set aside to cover her wedding expenses.

Viviene loses track of her goals as she and her family face mounting debts. She breaks up with Marco, whose family thinks she is going crazy because of her depression.

The turning point is when she almost takes her own life to end her misery.

Marco comes to the rescue right before she is about to overdose on un-prescribed pills.

It is Marco who convinces Viviene to seek help from a psychiatrist.

Coupled with love and support from her parents, Viviene is able to rise above the storms in her life.
